The Mayrhofen-Hippach Holiday Region offers numerous possibilities for active leisure pursuits and fascinating adventures in the great outdoors both in summer and winter. In the heart of a sublime mountain landscape in the Upper Zillertal valley you can try skiing, hiking, mountaineering, cycling or the Run & Walk Park. In winter, in addition to the "Ski Zillertal 3000 - Hintertux Glacier" skiing area, there are both enticing snow shoe treks through the romantic landscape and well-groomed cross-country skiing trails on offer. Passionate skiers are well catered for by the "Harakiri Hill", the steepest descent in Austia. In the evening the aprés-ski scene provides fantastic variety and entertainment. The Region also offers a wide range of things for families with children, for example the "Mayrhofen Leisure Pool" with indoor pool and sauna, which is located in the centre of the village.
